You get what You want
so because you guys are constantly pestering me with requests for a new post, i've decided to not post anything for at least 2 more weeks (б)
just kidding, so after my last post, a girl who was hopeful to host me sometime next year, came to my house so i could get to know her, she was also an exchange student to Chile for about 5 months. (р) we hit it off really well and she invited me to meet some people and have a game/movie night at a church. we played taboo, a game that requires a person to describe a thing without saying certain words that it gives you, of course one needs to know the language well before he can play good, i was still able to depict tiger woods (by saying sports guy with many women, thank you game for not being able to update) and the deciding point which let our team win. (а) the next day, my friend Lalia had her birthday party, and my grandpa had recommended to me that i get her a certain book in english called "act like a women, think like a man" i never got a chance to read it, but we still got it for her as a present. (т) at the party, i was able to tae a glimse at the book, and the one of the first rules was "the man only wants to have sex with you" and i thought "thanks opa, trying to hook me up in Germany?" (с) the next 4 days, i spent with my awesome neighboor and best friend Michelle, we went to the opening of the jewish synagogue in augsburg, played lerschal (which she won :/) and just walked and talked a lot. on one day, my opa's brother came over for a visit and stayed the night. (л) my grand parents played a gambling game with me, and my oma whooped my ass harder than ever before.. the next day, my neighboor's bunny deid, and i helped her build a cross for her grave. (у)
so, ive been wanting to try to play sports here, but the only option is soccer or basketball really. (ш) i would have basketball in my school later, but at the time, i still wanted to play. after talking with different clubs, the only one that was near to me was a club in diedorf, where the girl who hosts me lives. (а) luckily she has cheerleading at the same place so she could show me around. i went one day to play basketball in diedorf, and it was ok. i couldnt get the names of the guys on my team right, so i expected them to help me a bit.. (й) a couple of times the other team shouted "here" and i threw them the ball, only for me to realize that it was a trick and have me running up the court saying "that was mean! :p" but after the third time i got the hang of who my team was. (ч) i definately proved myself on defense as i did in Russia. (и)i would like to contunue, but the health issue is still an issue, as the training ends at 10, and riding 40 minutes home everynight after playing would make me sick. so i had to sadly give it up. (т)
on the next day, Michelle invited me to the zoo with her rotary club, which was nice, but the zoo in Columbus is still better. (а) we said our goodbyes at the end because on the enxt day i would need to go to Vienna to play the zombie game. (й)
so i arrive in Vienna the next day at 2 or so, and am picked up by the husband of my mom's host sister 20 some years ago. (х) i helped them set up, and at night we got fitted and started the game. we had orders not to kill to many kids, and not to scare them all. the game was intense, i had a sword ad shield, and called myself "link" as opposed to my plan of just one shield and being captain america.. (о) (watch the avengers MOM!) the fights were awesome, 1 evil guy could take on 4-5 kids at once. our groups were pincered, overrun, reinforced, and had to lose to the kids in the end because it i their game. (р) i remember dying to 4 year olds with just a dagger in their hand. after the games were over, we packed up and tried to go home, with the only issue being that the truck had died and we needed to push it down the hill of the castle to restart the engine, somehow we didnt kill a person and it worked. (о) i spent the next day with the family and the kiracas, the family my mom stayed with in vienna for months many years ago. we had ice cream, i played mario with the 3 kids, and watched Prince of Persia. the next day, i went back to Augsburg and although every train was late (punktliche deutsche zuege mein arsch!!!) i still got back on schedule. (ш) in the following days, i got my hair cut, and went to school for the first time. our school has about 5 or so exchange students, 2 have some classes with me, a girl from slovakia and a boy from montana USA. (о) we speak only German and the germans find that funny just like the russians did. school is ok, as of now im able to partiipate more in the classes than i could at the end of russian school, because the schools in Germany dont require a person to know so many complex words just to be able to follow along like in Russia. (э) the germans changed their system from the style that russia had, to mimic the american system, so flattering i would say. (т) on that friday, lalia took michelle and i out to eat pizza in the same place my brother and I had pizza, i could remember the spot where my brother Ryan and I ate and i told them the stories. (о)
the next day, we had an orientation in the international school of augsburg, since the club made me an exchange student, i was required to go. i met the other kids (г) and some cool guys from Canada and the USA. (а) we also had a german test, which was highly controversial on levels (в). i got 4-5 place out of 30-40 students, which isnt bad, since the highest scores were 4 year speakers already who had good courses, compared to my 2 months in Germany. my score (н) was 46.5, the highest was 48. i would of won but i got 2 points off for calling the head a "face" and my butt an ass, and a half point for not using the weird double "ss" sound, and just writing two ss instead. my keyboard doesnt have it so i never can learn it, sue me. but i knew (о) all the grammar and the only think i didnt honestly now was women clothing, so im still happy with it. i was able to meet some german rebounds in the district. one kid spent a good year in Michigan, we started talking about it, and he said he was in a small town near chicago, i asked him if it was berin springs, he said no, but that a russian girl was there the year before him, i looked at him and said "daria?", he said "shulepova?" we both got shocked and then i told him i was the student who lived with her family for 4-5 months in Russia. rotary world is small. (!)
I went to a 2 time a year market with my friend Anita, and it was really cool, i didnt buy anything but it still was fun to see a local market swarming with peopel, and also anita's birthday party, which my oma helped me find a present for, this time the book wasnt so.... questionable :p
days were spent where my grndparents had 10 people over for playing a game called dopplekopf with cards, i started my basketball course in school, and scored a goal in the first 5 seconds on an interception followed by an alley-yup (however it's spelled) our team won twice and tied once. i talked with some people about gaming, they play guild wars 2, and can keep me updated. i saw a movie called when pigs have wings, about a pig that ends in in palestine and a muslim fisher finds it, and uses it to help his life improve. it was no hollywood film, but it was still funny. i went to a festival in augsburg, something about tabbing a devil, and kids releasing balloons into the sky and the farthest one gets a prize. a jewish video art exhibition was also around, and my opa and oma showed me it. on monday, I went to OKTOBERFEST!!! i tried to get groups, but all fell out due to bad planning or timing. so my opa took me, we found parking within 200ft of the place (smart car good) we went in, saw 3 beerhuts, ate a pretzel, saw some rides, and left. i only wanted to see it. on the weekend, the rotary students had a rotex weekend in obersdorf, we were going hiking in the alps. we got our groups together and went to the town. we had almost all the students there. when we went hiking, i showed a lot of people how Eagle Scouts really do it. 13 years experience beats none anyday. we did have girl passout, but she was treated well before i could do any first aid.
so far Germany has been good, they are really nice people and very warm hearted. yet i still compare the land with russia, with happens against my will, and the results would be surprising for most people to hear.
